Ok, if the first sentence of your comment is "I'm sorry, this isn't really related to this post" I'm going to delete your comment without reading it.

If you are having a problem with a module, http://drupal.org/support -- your resources are there. My blog -- and as far as I know, pretty much all blogs -- are not a Q&A. Nor is my email box, for those of you have forgotten my rant on that topic from last year.

Forums. Issue queue. These are where support requests go. Thanks.

Forget one of your rants?

Who could? They're like pile ups on the freeway - I just have to stop and get some photos.

What about IRC? ;)

What about IRC? ;)

Enh

In general I prefer not to do support on IRC unless you're doing development of something that's going to help the community. It sucks up a surprising amount of my time. I still do rather a lot of support on IRC but I'm prone to getting a little cranky about it.

agreed

yeh I agree, especially when ppl do'nt rly state their full problem or where they wanna go with it and just expect u to smell what version they're using and stuff...

I still try to help out ppl on IRC as much as possible

usually the answer is just a google query away, so I try to teach those ppl how to form proper google queries instead of feeding them the answer on a spoon... just seems more productive in the long run

oh, and it makes me so cranky when ppl constantly make statements as a questiong like "coz I haven't done it before?", or when they end ever sentence with "LOL" in capitals

but that's just IRC I guess :p
