I've released Panels 2 Alpha 6. (download)
This one includes the much talked about Panels Node module -- now panels can be a node! This module came out at only 275 lines, displaying the power of the panels API I built. Of course, panel nodes are simpler than panel pages, and have fewer options; but then again, you also have all the power of a node with them.
It also now lets you access the block configuration for native Drupal blocks. This took some interesting form API wrangling to make work, but I think I've got it. There's a special permission for it, so be sure your admin user who isn't #1 has that set.
I also added the onecol layout that's been sitting as a patch for quite some time. It has its uses.
And I did some work on the Panels 1 upgrade path. I think it's all better now, but I didn't get too fancy with my panels 1 test configurations, so I could easily have overlooked stuff.

I'll def be testing out the
I'll def be testing out the latest version of panels. Thanks.
