After several months of hard work, mostly be Dries Buytaert himself (and I tell you, that guy is <b>tireless</b> it seems. I don’t think I could do what he does) but with a lot of support from Dries Knapen, Steven Wittens, Angela Byron, Robert Douglass and a few others, the Drupal Association is officially born.

I've finally updated this site to Drupal 5. A couple of problems persist in the theme but they're mostly admin side.

Ok, I finally found some time and finished the last remaining piece of the puzzle. The first version of the Update Status module is now deployed. The output has changed a bit from what I posted last time.

1) Official releases only. This thing can't deal with dev releases or updates from CVS.

For those with an interest in participating in the next DrupalCon, which will be part of the larger OSCMS Summit 2007, the number of attendees is capped at 250 due to the space available at the venue. At last check, there are 181 registered attendees in just 3 or 4 days of registration being open. If the rate continues at this pace, it will be completely filled up by tomorrow night.
