My housemate Clay is a writer, producer, actor and probably gopher, gaffer, guffer and 16 other words that start with g and end with her for a zero budget sketch comedy show on local cable access called Moron Life.

They’ve started up what they call a vaudcast, which is, in fact, a video podcast, and are trying to get their viewership up. As such, they’re working getting the word out to people who might ordinarily not find their vaudcast.

The stuff is pretty funny, and ludicriously low budget. If you like funny, try it!

Had a nice chat with someone on IRC today, who was looking for a nice publishing mechanism in Drupal. And my previous article on the topic covered many of the bases quite nicely.

Except for revisions.

Ahh, and that’s something that is quite necessary in a proper publishing workflow, and we can’t currently do that because nodes can’t really have two states.

However, after brainstorming about it, I came up with a plan. One that I don’t have time to execute unfortunately, but I’m putting the plan down so that maybe in the future I can get back to it, or maybe someone who feels strongly about htis will give it a shot. I think if I were to do it it would only take me a few hours. It’s a lot simpler than I thought it would be.
